UNC TV comes to Granville

For the last week, Derek Long, a producer at UNC TV visited Granville for an upcoming taping of the NC Weekend program.  During his visit, he spoke to Mark Pace, Librarian in the North Carolina Room at Thornton Library in Oxford.  Their discussion centered around the history of Granville County.  Also, Long spoke to Angela Allen, Granville Tourism Development Director in her office on Hillsboro Street in Oxford.  They talked about places to visit, things to do and where to shop & eat throughout Granville County.  Following the interviews, Long visited places like Granville History Museum, Cedar Creek Gallery and local restaurants & retail shops like Harvest Restaurant and This ‘n That in downtown Oxford.
