Lake Rogers Park Season Opening

Friday, April 11th marks the season opening of Lake Rogers Park! Winter has now melted into spring, and summer is on the way, bringing with it long and relaxing weekends spent paddling on the water, or reading a captivating book while lounging on a park bench beneath a shady tree. Look forward to sharing a sunny Saturday bird watching with your kids, or come out for an afternoon of lazy fishing with your buddies.

The concession stand will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. for boat rentals and concession sales Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every week, including holidays. Shelter rentals are available all week long, sunrise to sunset. Pedal boats and Jon Boats (with oars) are available for rent at the concession stand. If visitors would like to bring their own boat to Lake Rogers, daily and yearly boat launch permits may be purchased either at the concession stand or at City Hall. Creedmoor residents receive a discount on boat rental and boat launch fees.

The city is excited to announce they have added new pedal boats and kayaks to enhance your visit at Lake Rogers. They are no longer offering trolling motors for the Jon Boats however; visitors are welcome to bring their own. With this addition, the City hopes your visit to Lake Rogers will be an experience you will remember and want to repeat all season long with family and friends.
