Creedmoor Welcomes New Clothing Store
“The Rack”
“Quality Clothing & Gifts for the Entire Family”

The City of Creedmoor is excited to announce and welcome The Rack, a new clothing and gift shop in downtown Creedmoor!  Owners Pam and Erin Holt say they have both always wanted to open a boutique of this type and upon moving into the area felt it would be a good addition to the City of Creedmoor. “There’s no other clothing and gift store for miles around, and it just makes sense to be able to offer a nice place to drop in and buy a gift or an outfit without having to drive to Raleigh”, said owner Erin Holt.

The Open House for The Rack will be Saturday May 2, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p. m. To celebrate, they plan to have giveaways and refreshments for customers!  Scottie Cornett, the Marketing Director for the City said, “Creedmoor and southern Granville County residents need to visit and shop at The Rack!  They have really outdone themselves in offering a variety of clothing for entire family!  I hope our residents embrace and patronize this store, and help make it a success; this kind of quality is so needed for local shopping!”

The Rack has merchandise arriving daily, with more coming!  They offer clothing for the entire family with name brands like:  Simply Southern; Southern Sippin’; Mud Pie; Peaches N’ Cream; Scout; and Fathom.  They also have home goods and gift items, featuring the Coton Colors Collection (Happy Everything), which is line of customized home décor items that can be accessorized with attachments to celebrate any occasion!

Make sure to drop in on Saturday, May 2 for the Open House!  The store is located at 207 Main Street in Creedmoor, (right next to Grammie’s Kitchen and across the street from Granville Gun Works and Raleigh Cake Pops).  Bring the entire family and spend a little time shopping in downtown Creedmoor!

The Rack will be open:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10-6; Wednesday 12-6, and Saturdays from 10-3. Owner Pam Holt noted, “We anticipate adjusting store hours based on the patron’s needs and shopping habits.  We plan to offer full-service shopping with gift wrapping, and even assistance for men who want to come and a pick up a gift forthe ladies in their lives.  Mother’s Day is just around the corner, so the Open House will be a great time to stop by and pick up a gift!
