Cedar Creek Gallery will have their 50th Annual Spring Pottery & Glass Festival beginning on April 6th and runs through April 7th & 8th to April 14th & 15th. The festival will include pottery, glass and wood demonstrations, Kiln openings, and Raku firings. Also, food trucks, live music and plant sales will be at the festival. The Humane Society of Granville County will host Paws for Granville on Saturday, April 7 from 5 PM - 9:30 PM. The event will take place at Carlee Farm in Oxford. Your ticket will include a Farm to Table buffet style dinner, entertainment featuring Johnny Orr and two complimentary drinks. There will also be a drawing held for door prizes. On April 8th, the Humane Society will host Granville Rescue Family Fun Day from 11 am to 5 pm, also at Carlee Farm. There will be lots of local vendors, food trucks and rescue groups. Come out and show your support for us and the Granville County Animal Shelter. Admission is free. Join First Baptist of Creedmoor for their FBCA Fun Run on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9 am. This morning activity is for the whole family and will take place at South Granville High School in Creedmoor. The morning will include a 5K Run/Walk as well as games suitable for kids such as face painting and bouncy houses. There will also be baked goods and hot dogs available for purchase. The latest trend among adults has arrived in Creedmoor with "Merlot & Van Gogh" on April 27th. Acclaimed local artist Alma Burke instructs two-hour step-by-step painting classes where participants bring, and enjoy, their favorite bottle of wine! This event will take place at The Rack located on 207 N Main Street in Creedmoor. The class is for adults 21 & older and there is a registration that must be paid prior to class.
